Flickery screen after installing ram1/24/2024 I must say though that I'd been using Aurasync before I got the 3060, with a Gtx 1050ti with no issues. But after a couple of OS rebuilds and more troubleshooting the instability seems to have come down to those 2 programmes, one destroying my OS and the other causing the blackscreens. For me that caused Windows to become inaccessible and was the reason why I rebuilt it. If you happen to have my same MB model or similar, PLEASE DO NOT download the SATA drivers from Asus Support. I believe what caused instability was Asus Aurasync/Armoury crate. I rebuilt the entire OS, updated drivers, flashed the MB bios to the latest version, UNINSTALLED ASUS AURA SYNC !! as well as keyboard (Redragon Vata Pro K580 RGB) RGB software, and kept the mouse (VSG Aurora) RGB software. I've managed to have the PC running for almost a whole day without blackscreens so far, under various loads, which keeping in mind I was having them every like 20 or so minutes. Hi everyone, I've been having this same problem for a while now. If you use this type of accessory, try to remove it! The accessory now, I adjusted to stay at the end of the plate, keeping the unevenness. The board is out of level again, and I've come to believe it's the "perfect" fit considering the motherboard slot. I've done stress test of the card, overclock and so far 0 black screen. It took me a while to believe this could be it, but after removing it 2 days ago it hasn't happened anymore. I left it attached so you can see how it is currently and how much it was raised by the accessory. So I researched solutions and put those plate supports, forcing it up, to stay level. I tried all possible solutions found on the forums and it kept happening.Ĭontextualizing: When I bought the video card, I noticed that it was out of level, because of the weight. I was having the same problem, randomly the black screen appeared, in games, using windows, watching movies, it happened every day, to use the computer again, I had to restart the computer. I see glitched colors and then Windows login. I mean there is no mobo logo, no windows logo etc. If it would help, my new specs are Ryzen 5800X + Asus Prime X570-PRO + Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32GB + DeepCool GamerStorm DQ750-Mīlack screen is gone for now with my new built but I see mixed colors like a broken monitor screen once in a while when I turn my PC on. I plugged 4pin CPU cables and changed RAM slots from 1,3 to 2,4 (correct places). UPDATE 2: I built a complete new desktop with same GPU and yes, black screen happened again (once). UPDATE: It's working now after: Removing 3070 > Booting with Intel iGPU > Turning off > Pluging RTX3070 Back BUT it again gave me red light when I plugged the GPU for the first time to the PCI-e Re-downloaded and installed Nvidia drivers.Removed all the drivers from Windows Control Panel.Steps I did after upgrading from 1080Ti to 3070 I kinda started thinking that it has a manufacturing defect. I removed the 3070 and now PC is booting. Whatever I try, I couldn't start the computer. I streamed twice on Twitch with no issues until today morning. I've been thinking these are just driver/software issues that could be fixed in the future so I didn't care much. I got Windows' error message sound and got black screens twice which I wasn't able to see what was the actual error and I had to restart since I couldn't do anything.PC got frozen ONCE while doing Rise of the Tomb Rider benchmark so I had to restart and the test worked twice like a charm after that. There were 2 issues I could say which are I was using the card since last Thursday. Hi, I recently upgraded my Asus 1080Ti to GIGABYTE's Vision model 3070 GPU that I bought from Newegg.
